This special intimate event allows for guests to connect with each other as entrepreneurs, leaders, athletes, parents, singles, Cancer survivors, or simply as strong human beings who seek to ignite more fire in their lives! 

SOAPBOX® In-home Inspiration Party benefiting LIVESTRONG™  is a one-of-a-kind event especially created for Austin’s community, filled with a special presentation by the Host, a silent auction, fabulous treats, and a spotlighting of some great women leaders who are helping spread the SOAPBOX® message and impact charities across this city…and eventually the whole country!

March 8 2010 -Kimberlie Dykeman Launches 24-Hour Fundraiser for LIVESTRONG!

Hey, folks…yup, it’s me.  Kimberlie.  Ok, now CALL ME CRAZY…but I’m ready to do something unconventional…yet again!  I want to see how much $$  MOOLAH $$  I can raise for LIVESTRONG™ in one 24-hour period!  I am a returning Grassroots Fundraiser for LIVESTRONG™ and have set a lofty goal of engaging your support to raise $5,000 this year to help the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

But today I got to thinking…WHAT IF I COULD DO THIS IN ONE DAY!!!???

I have a slew of awesome, supportive social media friends who I just know would rally to make this happen!  So I emailed them all…on Facebook, LinkedIn and Plaxo.  Of course, on top of this, I will continue to donate a portion of proceeds from all sales of my book, PURE SOAPBOX, upcoming speaking engagements and anything else I create!

TV host, producer and author Kimberlie Dykeman  has just signed on as a 2010 returning Grassroots Fundraiser for the Lance Armstrong Foundation, continuing her promise to hold LIVESTRONG™ as the main beneficiary of a portion of the proceeds from all book sales of “Pure Soapbox”.  Book-sample-3-cover-finalThis year, Dykeman has also elected to automatically offer up a donation from sales of all other SOAPBOX® products, including the audiobook version of “Pure Soapbox” (coming out nationwide in January), speaking engagements, SOAPBOX® In-Home Inspiration parties (officially launching in January) and live events.   Having been both intimately affected by cancer and impacted by friends who are striving through the trauma of this deadly disease, Dykeman feels personally convicted to grow her support for this world-renowned charity, and views this as an to further inspire the global community to donate to the fight against cancer.

Great Day SA TV Show Loves Kimberlie Dykeman!

Kimberlie closes out March with another interview on San Antonio’s Great Day SA morning show on KENS 5. Producers had the newly published author on just days after her long-awaited book, PURE SOAPBOX, hit the shelves this past July!  The book is a compilation of bite-sized jolts of colorful, motivational commentary wrapped around the famous quotes of thought leaders and artists.  This time around, Dykeman will talk about the growing divisions of the SOAPBOX(R) brand and devoted fundraising efforts through her Motivation for Donation(TM) officially launching later this year. Other immediate developments include more books in the series, original mobile content, a radio show, online TV talk show, and a product line that is sure to motivate with a swift kick in the pants!
