UgluuKimberlie Dykeman is this week’s featured contributor for the online site Ugluu.com, which is garnering the tremendous interest of the web community as the “stickitivity” site, teaching folks how to simply stick-with-it, when it comes to relationships.  Dykeman selected and highlighted one of her favorite SOAPBOX® vignettes which is wrapped around the omnipotent spoken words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who exemplified this principle.

In April of this year Dykeman was selected to participate in The Personality Project and in turn showcased in Rohit Bhargava’s e-book “Women of Personality,” featuring the success stories of twenty female entrepreneurs who intuitively use their personalities to better their business ventures.  Among the other lauded women was Kare Anderson

Emmy-winning former Wall Street Journal reporter, Obama campaign consultant, speaker, and author.  The two relentless networking marketers were soon conversing about how they could further engage and help one another.

Come full circle, amongst other initiatives the two are brewing up, Anderson invited the SOAPBOX® Queen to contribute to the Ugluu site, one of the ex-reporter’s own manifestations which she founded with Guy Harris, Certified human behavior specialist, conflict resolution expert and managing partner of The International Broadcast Group.  Ugluu.com is about people learning to build relationships that, in a word, STICK.  It’s a place where you have learning access from people who are dedicating themselves to finding ways to make their relationships more powerful, more dynamic, and more fulfilling, every day.  Each week new, actionable insights are shared by extraordinary guest blogger, with fantastic accomplishments in business, literature, education and media, including Brian Vaszily, Jane Pollak, Dr. Jordan Paul, Leah Komaiko, and Mark Goulston.

Pursued by Competitive Edge Media, a California-based media, production and marketing corporation, Kimberlie Dykeman inked her first deal, to host several multimercials (mini-infomercials) for the company’s newest products on its soon-to-be-launched channel, LifeBrands TV. Trekking down to Tim Pipher’s Southeastern Studios in beautiful Vero Beach, Florida this August, Dykeman continues to carry the torch as a sought-after infomercial queen, having hosted programs produced both in the US and the Philippines, now broadcasted internationally. Dykeman is also in talks with Competitive Edge Media to both serve as LifeBrand TV’s recurring spokesperson and host, and to tap their expertise in the further development of her SOAPBOX® motivational line of lifestyle products.

Finally settled in from a grueling, but stellar shoot week for the upcoming network show “LIVE 2B 100“.

When I was approached with the opportunity to help produce a national TV show, I thought I was going to pee my pants!  The honor of working side-by-side with John Lage and Rudy Germany, two highly-respected, super-talented producers in the industry, paired with learning essentials to apply to the successful launch of my own show made this opportunity a no-brainer!  And for any of you who know of my love affair with health and fitness, you can bet that creating a show, called “LIVE 2 B 100”, that teaches folks to live longer, was just was the icing on top, indeed!

Here are some shots of the set, in the gorgeous studio location of Studios 121 in Fort Worth, Texas.  We had a fabulous live audience each day, over a dozen special guests and a killer production team of about 30 people working 18-hour days.  Now the really tough stuff begins…editing all the footage into 6 completed episodes and then hustling to sell these and about 150 more episodes to one of our interested targets –which include DISCOVERY HEALTH, FIT-TV (also a “Discovery” Channel), RLTV (Retirement Living TV), VERIA NETWORKS (Health and Wellness) and Global Health TV (syndicated internationally).

Keep your fingers crossed, prayers coming and stay tuned!

Kimberlie Dykeman has been courted and finally brought on-board as an Associate Producer for the upcoming network TV show entitled “Live 2B 100”, slated for broadcast Fall ’09.  Executive Producers from L.A. and Dallas are excited to tap Dykeman’s expertise both in front of and behind the camera, as an organizer, scriptwriter and on-camera consultant, as well as to connect with media and book national guests.  Dykeman, fellow production leaders and crew members head into the Studios 121 in Fort Worth, Texas this month to begin shooting initial episodes.

About the show:    “Live 2B 100”  featuring Host Dr. Ted Gambordella is a health and wellness show for ages 40 and up, slated for broadcast Fall ’09 on a major cable network.  The central theme of the show addresses the frightening fact that in the year 2009, 33% of the population will be over the age of 65. That is 105 Million people!  Media outlets today are not doing enough to provide the correct information and positive support for that demographic.  It’s time that we communicate an effective design for living people ages 40 and up who strive for a well-balanced, healthy, LONG life.  Daily fitness, nutritional info, self-defense techniques, yoga, mental health and many other areas related to extending the quality of life will be addressed in this daily show.  Dr. Ted Gambordella is the fitness and self-defense expert who has the knowledge and inspiration to do just that.   He and his guests will teach America how to LIVE 2BE 100!    Broadcasting network to be revealed at a later date.

Memorial Day is an incredibly moving day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation’s service.  For generations, our peers, partners, pals and parents have stood with dignity, integrity and the uttermost courage to make the United States of America what it is today: a land of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  I challenge you to set your political party preferences aside and simply let this thought sink in.  It’s not about what did right or wrong; should or shouldn’t have done; will or won’t do.   It’s bigger than that, folks.  Purposefully join together to honor those who gave their all for our collective rights, and simply pay mindful appreciation to all you have, all you get to do each day, and all your future might just hold.  Your memories are the magic of life.  Cherish them, share them…and make more!          – KD

“What you memorize, you memorialize.”     – Anonymous   (often credited to ND Walsch, author)

Whether your first sweetheart’s phone number, your favorite song, or big acceptance speech, you’ve chosen to etch these things into your mind for timely safe-keeping.  Yet years later, buried convolutions release their imprints your call, and elicit surprising delight.  But it’s not the content, nor the fact that you remember it verbatim that elates your spirit.  Instead, your smile, laugh and peaceful pause for reflection evolve from the unfolding of the celebration surrounding such snippets.  When you commit anything to mind, you emphasize its importance to your heart.  Honor the influential people, places, experiences, and messages that graciously fill your moments and pay tribute to yourself by tapping the enlightening power of those memories.

Last year Rohit Bhargava, blogger & SVP at Ogilvy 360 Digital Influence, launched his latest book “Personality Not Included”  to great accolades.  In response to a flurry of emails from women business owners who talked about how they were already intuitively using personality in their businesses, he has chosen to also launch a companion e-book.  The compilation book, entitled “Women of Personality”, is part of The Personality Project, and features 20 visionary female entrepreneurs sharing their stories of success.    Collectively they answered one simple questions:  How has personality helped you achieve success with your career or your business?

According to Bhargava, an elite marketer and renowned blogger, all showcased contributors qualify as some of the most visionary, approachable and interesting women in business today; and each of the participants was chosen because she has not only built a successful career for herself but has also made significant contributions to helping other women become successful as well.

I met Rohit for a spit-second at SXSW last year and we have since connected on the net to keep up and learn from one another.  Apparently he’d begun  following my career path via updates, reviews and tweets…for I have been honored as one of the chosen  entrepreneurs!    Read about this fascinating project and download your own FREE copy of the e-book, “Women of Personality”.
